Methylene Chloride is used successfully in foam blowing pharmceuticals and cosmetics, paint and varnish remove, plastics processing, aerosols,metal degreasing and cleaning. It is used as a process solvent in its own right and as a highly versatile solvent for formulation work when mixed with other chemicals. Methylene Chloride's combination of chemical and physical prop0erties, including high solvency power, stability, non-flammability and a low boiling point, have led to its use in a wide variety of application and industries.
